Barb Lawton: I had been employed in the fuel industry with a competitor when I decided I needed a change. I went to work for a municipality and, after a short time I decided to get back into the fuel business. I spoke with a fuel company that had no openings when they mentioned to me that I should look into Blueox. I did, and I have been employed here for 20 years. I have handled many different tasks within the organization. I have been a Customer Service Representative, I have worked in the Service Division, and I am currently working in the Accounting Department.

When I interviewed with the manager and owners of Blueox, I felt very comfortable. They gave me the impression that they were down to earth and caring individuals. My impression was correct, they truly were and still are. There have been numerous changes within the business in my time here. Some good and some painful, but all worth it as we continue to advance into the future.

Working for Blueox, I feel as if I am part of a family. We all work well together and respect one another. We are all here to give it our best when it comes to the customers, everyone feels that way. It's a professional but laid back organization with outstanding people to work with. As a company, we are highly competitive and we have skilled employees who are always ready to take on a challenge. Most importantly, we strive to be fair and honest with our customers. We do make mistakes, but we learn from them and that helps to make us a better company.
